Race condition with simultaneous Options page users

Is there a way to lock editing on an ACF Options page when another user is editing?

Basically we’re looking to mimic the same functionality in core for posts but to apply to theme admin pages.

We have an options page with a large table created using an ACF repeater field and if two people are working on it simultaneously, the last user who hits save overwrites the previous user’s changes.

If we can’t lock out users for options page we’re thinking we might have to attach the ACF field to a page and rely on WP core to do the locking. Thanks everyone.
