Query Loop Block custom inner Post Template blocks

I’m sure most people will be familiar with the query loop block introduced in WordPress 5.8, it’s a handy tool but very limited so not great beyond the simplest of use cases.

I’m wanting to add some additional custom fields to the Query Loop Block and I cannot find any documentation or mentions of anyone doing this anywhere, event natively despite [What I think] was a thorough search on Github too.

Basically I just want to display meta data from posts or pages, for example an event date, in the Query Loop Block.

Any help, much appreciated.
