Pull in rows from posts and order all by uploaded date

Hello,
Is there a way to show all of the rows of a field from various posts but order by the uploaded date of the rows?

I have a gallery where I want to show all of the images uploaded to news articles (the post type), but order by most recent uploaded rather than the upload date of the post.

I assume we’ll need a field as part of the row repeater that marks a date, but not sure how we do that, and also we need to output all of the images and then order by the dates?

Any ideas?
