We’d love to be able to show the user some kind of preview of the input they are giving. For example; we are using the flexible content field a lot to build pages easily. It would be amazing to be able to have a preview button on a layout row there – where we’d pass some field values to a template file (maybe loaded in an iframe with the possibility to load an external css/js file).
This way it’s a lot easier to quickly preview iterations of your work – now you have to save the page every time and reload it.

WordPress in itself have a preview ability for posts and pages.
That’ll show the proper layout without having to actually save the post.
Of course it’s not loaded in a modal iframe directly on the edit screen but it’s pretty nice.
