Preview page button not working

We have an ACF post type that uses a number of WYSIWYG fields. Users complain that they are unable to use “preview page” without first clicking ‘Update”.

It’s not a major issue, but seems unnatural for users to have to finalise edits before previewing them. Sort of defeats the point of a preview.

Is there anything I can do to change this?
