Preview images in admin display at full size

I’m not sure why, but in the admin backend, the gallery images in the grid view display at full size, no matter what size I specify as the preview size.

Same issue for me too.
It may be related to b/c I am adding some custom size?
By in the setting I just use the “thumb”.
