prev and next Element ID of gallery array

Hey Guys,

I hope you can help me.

I’m building my own Lightbox for a Website and for this case i need to get the ID of the previous and next Element of the gallery array.

I am absolutely stuck. I tried several things with next() and prev() and on and on.

I am far away from being good in php and maybe the solution is easy but i don’t get it.

Hopefully you understand what i am trying 😀
