I have problems with saving acf fields (Page link). It just suddenly stopped saving changes. For example I have Pages with acf repeater field and inside repeater field textarea, text, page link, image… All other fields are saved except Page Link.
I tried to asign “Page link” field to other cpt; Deactivating all other plugins; increase some server php variable;… still can’t make it work.

Could you please make sure that the issue is not related to the

If you are using the Local JSON feature, could you please disable it for a while?
If that doesn’t help, could you please try to reproduce the issue on one of the WordPress’ stock themes (like Twenty Sixteen) with other plugins deactivated? If it disappears, then you can activate the theme and plugins one by one to see which one causes the issue. This will make sure that no other plugins that cause this issue.
Our PHP settings of max_input_vars = 5000, we are not using JSON. About field_name, we tried to change field name but still no changes.
My option_name in DB looks like that:
option_name varchar(191) utf8mb4_unicode_ci Yes NULL
We tried to add Page Link field outside the repeater, and this is working. So seems like the problems is only inside repeater fields. But it was working this way for few years, why would suddenly stopped working? Any other clue?
Have you tried to reproduce the issue on one of the WordPress’ stock themes (like Twenty Sixteen) with only ACF activated? It’s possible that there’s a new code that modifies the repeater query, thus caused the update issue.
