Optimizing ACF tables / performance trade-off

Hi

I want to ask about the optimization of ACF date/tables. I mean, if I have some kind of relationship between two groups, are queries carried out efficiently with some efficient join between the related posts, for example?

I want to know what is the tradeoff between the performance and how much ACF is convenient. I also think it can be probably more efficient?
