Notice: Undefined index: type in… api-field.php on line 1746

  • I had this problem iternettinetly recently on my local wp-dev site, set to display most error log stuff (for keeping my code output clean, log-wise). It happened for a short time but then just seemed to vanish on it’s own, now it seems to be back. I am getting now (but it might flicker away again) this error (editing out my local environment path specific stuff):

Notice: Undefined index: type in… wp-content\plugins\advanced-custom-fields-pro\includes\api\api-field.php on line 1746

Anyone have any ideas on what might be triggering this, or where I should look/what I should be grabbing to post a more fulsome var_dump here, and possibly get to the bottom of this admittedly minor, but fiendishly untraceable error message?

FYI, possibly important localhost WP details:
    WP: Version 4.8.2
    ACF: Version 5.6.2
