New field plugin = multiple fields

    Hi,

I wonder if there’s a way to write a plugin which add a new fied type which actually includes two or more fields.
Eg #1 : a field of type “Name” which displays 2 fields : “Last Name” and “First Name”.
Eg #2 : a field of type “Event dates” which includes 2 fields “Start date” and “End date”

Anyway, thank you for your plugin. I use it every day, it’s a time saver.

    Hi @cyril

Currently, no, there is no field like this, however it sounds like all you need to do is create these as standard fields and the use CSS to float them next to each other?

    Thanks

    Thanks Elliot,
My question was not ony a display matter. The goal behind these “multiple fields in one” is to build with a few clics a potentially very complex UI, coupled to specific validation rules and treatments.

    Hi @cyril

Perhaps this feature request needs to be explained in detail. I’ll try my best to recommend a solution.

    Thanks

    Hi Gleenk,

This may be the solution. I haven’t tried his add-on, I will give it a try.
    Thank you!
