New custom fields doesn't save values

Dear Elliot

Thanks for this ACF plugin and I am getting start creating my first custom field using it.

But I got a problem, after creating a basic text field and assign it in “Home” page, when I add a sample text in the text field and click “Update”, the value does not save.

I am using ACF v4, WP 4. Fresh install of WP, with qTranslate text.

Here were what I did:

– This is NOT a “Custom” type problem ,like this one: http://support.advancedcustomfields.com/forums/topic/new-custom-fields-doesnt-save-values/

– I download acf-field-type-template-master file, unzip, activate, add it to my Page, entering some random text, click “Update” of the page, value not saved.

– I read: http://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/text/, nothing useful.

Can you please tell me what am I doing wrong and how can I fix this?
