Move option page menu to sub-menu position

Hi 🙂

I’ve used ACF Pro to create an option page for a child theme.
I’ll be including the plugin within the theme and I have exported/imported the option page fields from the dev setup etc

I want to move the admin menu item for the created option page to being a sub-menu item under Appearance

I’ve read a few threads, however I’m really not understanding what code is needed in order to make it happen

Any help appreciated

Basically you just need to set the parent slug argument to ‘themes.php’. Options are always stored in the same place so there are no changes with getting any of the values or where they are stored in the database.

Hi John,
appreciate the response, it prompted me to revisit the documentation.
Think i had been referring to outdated docs when i first looked at it.
Explains why my code wasn’t working, no idea what i had initially done
