Duplicating the File field

Hi,
I would like to create a new field type which would incorporate a File field in it. I have added my custom field type to ACF and have tried reusing the File field code from /core/field.php since I need that functionality as well.

The problem is just that the function acf_enqueue_uploader() doesn’t seem to work.

Is there a way to make it work with the same js that acf uses?
