Location field does not appear in dropdown list of field types

Hi,

I’m using WP 3.8.1 & AC F4.3.4

The Location field does not appear in the dropdown list of field types.
Other fields appear as they should.

Do I need to do something for Location field to appear?

I installed the Location Field add-on from WordPress and that did not correct the issue so I deleted it.

I then installed the Location Field add-on from Github (this fork: https://github.com/fabrizim/acf-location-field) and that corrected the issue. The location field now appears.

I thought the Location field was included in the core…
