Using Local JSON is a far more efficient use of time for many developers, however there is something that it lacks.
Can you make a more prominent warning that fields need to be synced, or better still prevent any new fields from being created until a user has synced?
I work in a lot of different dev teams, all of which have various levels of expertise with ACF, many are unaware of Local JSON for example and therefore often don’t sync their fields after pulling the latest codebase from version control. This can cause a lot of merge issues, or unexpected behaviour.
I believe if there was a more obvious message on the initial dashboard page / banner within the dashboard instructing the user to sync this would solve a lot of these conflicts.
