First of all: Great plugin!
I’m using the Flexible Content Field for a testimonials page with mixed text and image boxes that are tiled with masonry.js
To add new testimonials visitors can use a re-designed wp-comment form provided at the bottom of the page.
The admin in turn adds new testimonials by simply copy and pasting them into a new text layout field.
While this does work fairly well, I’m curious if there’s a possibility to directly select and load a specific comment into a custom field.
In case you’re wondering why I don’t just load the comments the wordpress way: Well, it doesn’t allow me to mix them up with images.

Currently, there is no ‘comment select’ field type, however you could easily write one yourself:
