Load saved DB value for a select/dropdown

Hello,
I have created a Group field, added a Select field to it named report_involved_family.
The Select field is empty, I am loading values to the Selecy field “report_involved_family” depending on other fields. This works very good, also the value is saved to DB without any problem.

The issue is, when I edit the page the saved values is not shown for the Select field. Please help me so show up the values when editing the field.

Also, this is in the backend.

Can you post the code you’re using to do this
