Limit which fields users can filter by when choosing posts in Relationship field

Hiya

Using a Relationship field to let someone select some “Foo”s (a CPT) using a Relationship field. Foo has 4 different taxonomies applied to it. The interface lets the user filter by terms in any of these 4 taxonomies. However, I want to only show terms from 3 of these 4 taxonomies, keeping the last one completely out of the UI for choosing which Foos to select.

Is this possible?

Gah – of course, after submitting, I see how unclear the title was. It should read: Limit which TAXONOMIES users can filter by…
