Hi, could you please clarify what license covers the basic ACF wordpress plugin?
Could you please point me to the relevant license documentation page?

I’d be interested in adopting it within my organisation, however I would need some clarification on the licensing in order to do so.

    Thanks and regards

    Hi @ec80

The ACF plugin is GPL and free. You can download it here:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/advanced-custom-fields/

Each premium add-on can be purchased and used on multiple websites you work on.

You can read about the terms here:
    http://www.advancedcustomfields.com/terms-conditions/

    Thanks

Many thanks for your prompt response.

I have been asked by my colleague in legal to provide a copy of the license as a supporting evidence… can you point me to the exact page on your site where the GPL license is posted? It’s not on the Term and Conditions page.
Or if not currently posted, could you please add it onto the T&C page… or maybe add a license.txt file to the downloadable zip?

I would really appreciate your help!
I work in a financial services firm and would love to adopt ACF for some marketing websites, but unfortunately we have very strict policies and I need to bring some evidence of the licensing for auditing reasons. Maybe I am not the only one with such a problem…

Thank you in advance for your understanding!!
