I’m using ACF 5 PRO in a project where I also use WPML. I’ve recently uploaded the local site on a live staging area and it seemed the changes I was making to the custom fields groups were not being applied to the actual edit screens.
Initially I thought it was some sort of caching problem, but after checking the acf-json folder, it seems that all the config files I had created locally were in a /en folder (which is the main language in WPML), while the new one was being saved in the root of the folder and this not being read. I’ve now manually overwritten the file in /en with the new one and the changes do show in the admin, but I’d like to avoid doing this all the time.
Any idea what might be causing this? Locally things seem to be working normally, the files are saved to the correct path.
