there’s a great plugin called JackBox for WP which allows you to set links in your wysiwyg editor to open in a lightbox.
Trouble is it won’t work with ACF installed. Does anyone have any experience of this?
more info: the way jackbox works, you highlight the link in your editor and then click a jackbox button in the toolbar. This opens a pop up window where you set the behaviour of the lightbox you want that link to open, on hitting save the pop-up closes and the HTML is updated with the necessary code.
With ACF wysiwyg fields these updates aren’t written to the HTML, I’m guessing the editor is given a different name (to the vanilla one) by ACF so the pop up is unable to find the correct field into which it should write the changes

Thanks for the compatibility report. Can you please open your console log and watch for any JS errors when you add in the link?
Also, can you please contact the developer of this plugin as it will be much easier for them to add support for ACF, than the other way around!
