Is there a way to use a htm5 video loop as a featured image?

I have a grid with posts on my WordPress website. Id like to have some of the featured thumbnails on my wordpress site as looped videos instead of only images. Do I need to create a custom acf field for that and is there a way to integrate that inte the thumbnail loop?

I think you are looking for something else. ACF cannot let you use a video as a featured image. Featured image is a WP feature, not an ACF feature.
