Is there a way to hide the new \"cog\" icon in the metaboxes title?

I was going through the code and it looks like the icon is added with javascript and I couldn’t find a way to hide it other than commenting those few lines of code, am I missing something? It’d be nice to be able to hide it considering there’s an option to hide the menu item.

It does not look like there’s a way to do this, as you say. The only solution I can think of is to add some custom CSS to the admin to override the ACF css so that it does not appear.
