Is it possible to dynamical change the inputfields of the backend?

Hi is it possible somehow to dynamically adjust the appearance of the backend. e.g. per default the layout for a custom post type with its acf’s is for a single day with one datepicker. if you check the checkbox you get the options for a more day event, which means a second date picker would show up and so on. Is that basically possible? Or is the flexible content field necessary for that? Or not possible at all? Best regards Ralf
