Insert field with shortcode problem

Cant get this shortcodes to work:

[acf field="{$field_name}"] or [acf field="{$field_name}" post_id="{$post_id}"]

This one is working in the theme but why cant i use shortcodes?

<?php the_field( “test”, 2 );?>
