All of the default css related to conditionals and hidden fields is not working in my install after upgrading WordPress to 3.8. Using ACF 4.3.4. Anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions besides making an additional plugin to load these?

This is a new issue which hasn’t been reported yet, so I will assume that it is specific to your instal.
Can you please look through the source code to see if the acf CSS file is being included?
Perhaps use the firebug / inspector to view the included CSS files and see if there were any errors loading in the file. Perhaps this issue is permissions based?
