Improved Toggle Switch

  • The new(er) toggle switch that allows you to collapse a single repeater field is a great start, but I’m having trouble seeing the value of it in it’s current state.

To the average WordPress user (ie: clients) it appears that only one field is editable, because the toggle switch is discrete and only shown when hovering a row. And there is no way to set a default when the page loads (this could be accomplished with custom JavaScript).

What would be great would to instead of showing the single field input, it would display the value of the field and it could be a link itself or have a link/button next to it that would be the expand trigger.

I have attached an example of what I mean.

  • Hi @emrl,

Thanks a bundle for the feedback.

Your explanation on this issue was not clear and I am not able to replicate this issue.

Could you explain to me more on how to replicate the problem so that I may be able to test it.

Hope to hear from you soon.
