Import of ACF XML to another site fails

I’m trying to move over some fields from an old install (4.3x) to a new install (5.x). I export the XML from the old site, then try to import it on the new site and I get the message:

Import Failed: Invalid post type acf

Is this related to the change from 4 to 5? If so, is there a workaround? Really don’t want to have to rebuild these back out.

Did you find an option or you rebuilt all the custom fields?
