I am currently using WordPress 5 and also ACF pro 5.7.9 and i have a field created for text sections on posts which utilises the full WYSIWYG editor.
When updating an image the image will load into the WYSIWYG and display and will preview fine on the page, however the image has a caption applied to it and the ACF WYSIWYG editor is not applying the wp-caption-text tag automatically.
I have seen another issue linked to this from a few years ago and the issue is still occurring. Is there a fix for this?
The only way i can work around is to add the image which will not display the caption and then click the image edit again and add caption and then it applies the caption tag into the code.
