Idea for Link field type

If there is “link” field-type for adding link with internal/external link source support will be appreciable. Sometimes we require a field for link where we can select the link source like internal or external.
For example, if link-source is “internal” then display the drop-down with Posts (from selected post-types) and Pages OR if link-source is “external” then display a text-field to add custom url.
