How to save ACF data to a custom database table?

I just want to save duplicate data to a custom table used for search/filters.

They are repeater fields if that matters.

Can I hook into acf/save_post action then just add my own function with SQL INSERT/UPDATE to save data to custom table just before or after saving to postmeta?

Ideal Result: Data available in postmeta and in custom table.

Yes, you can use an acf/save_post action to get and then do whatever you want with the field values, including put them into another db if you like.
