How to query flexible field?

Hi,

How can i query flexible field sub field (by using meta_key) in WP query?

I have found out that it is the same as repeater field -> flexible_%_field. However if i’m adding it as flexible_0_field it works and if i’m adding flexible_%_field if don’t. Any ideas why it’s so?

Thank you for the question.

Due to the nature of the data, it is not possible to use WP functions to query sub field values. The problem centers around the data naming convention which requires a ‘SQL LIKE’ search on the meta_key which these functions do not allow.

The flexible content fields save their data in this format: $ParentName_$RowNumber_$ChildName
