I’m building a real estate website and my client wants me to create a posts loop that displays the number of listings within a portfolio.
What I did was I used Custom Post Types to create a Post Type for Portfolios and a Post Type for Listings.
What I need to do is pull the number of listings that are within the Portfolio.
So a Portfolio will say something like “Austin Texas” and in the post loop I need to have it say how many house listings are within Austin Texas.
I already have the custom post loop all set, I just need to know how to pull the total number from any given post type or category into it.
Do you know how I can do this?
