I’m attempting to develop a full blown Project Management utility using the Advanced Custom Fields Plugin.
I’ve used the CPT UI Plugin to create a CPT called “Projects” and another called “Tasks”.
Then I used ACF to create Custom Fields and ensured they only appear on those Post Types. One of the fields on Tasks is called “Project” and it’s a Post Object field type. It allows the user to select from a list of Custom Posts in the “Projects” CPT I created.
The problem is that when you’re on the All Tasks page I need there to be a column that displays the value they selected from that Projects Post Object field. But I don’t see any option to achieve this.
Any permanent solutions are welcome! (Not looking for a hack, but willing to write custom code to extend ACF).
If someone still needs this functionality I’ve made a completely free and fully ACF-compatible plugin for showing custom fields in post overview pages – Posts Columns Manager (PCM). Hope it will help people to easily manage their custom columns without any programming. Here it is – https://wordpress.org/plugins/posts-columns-manager/

Last week, we released ACF 5.10 🎉 This update includes the brand new HTML escaping feature, which helps to keep your ACF-generated content safe. Learn about this and other new goodies in the release post: https://t.co/p9gKUYmdDQ
