How to display acf text field on image attachment in editor content

Trying to determine how to display an acf field that is attached to the image when that image is added/attached via the editor. I’ve tried to hook into the img_caption_shortcode filter which works, but if the caption is empty, then it won’t show the acf field, obviously. Thanks for any guidance.
