The tooltip/pop-up that opens upon clicking the button that adds a new row/layout to a flexible content field closes automatically when clicking anywhere on the page.
While I can understand why this behaviour might be desirable, it clashes with a functionality I am trying to implement that is similar to the layout preview modal included in ACF Extended. How can I disable the aforementioned ‘close on click’ behaviour? I’m assuming it’s hidden somewhere in the depths of the JavaScript API but I can’t seem to locate it (or figure out how to access/disable it). Setting event.preventDefault while listening for click events didn’t do the trick – neither did disabling pointer events.
