How To Create a Taxonomy

Hi Guys,

Just new here and I’m loving the plugin so far. I’ve done basic level fields at a post and page level with no problem.

Now I want to create a new Taxonomy called Google Category so I can import it into my google shopping feed…

Can anybody point me in the direction of a tutorial to help with this?

You can use the Custom Post Type UI plugin to generate your custom Taxonomy https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/custom-post-type-ui/

And then you can refer to this tutorial to add custom fields to that taxonomy
