How to create a select that allowed to be selected once

I have a banner on the website that has 2 sections. It has some data taken from ACF. I can make two field groups for each section but I choose to make a repeater. Anyway, I want that once I choose section-1 for first row I wouldn’t be able to select section-1 again but only section-2. I was thinking to remove chosen options with js, but that’s probably the most stupid idea. I was also thinking to figure it out using hook acf/load_value but that’s not much helpful too. Can anyone please suggest a better way? TIA
