How to create a field as sum of two other fields

HI,

I need to create an ACF field that is ‘calculated’ based on the values of other ACF fields
This field SHOULD BE visible in the backend

Field 1: Cost
Field 2: Extra cost

I need a field 3: Total cost, sum of field 1 + field 2

Created after data has been entered in fields 1 and 2 and saved.

Since beginning of December (a week ago), there’s a free plugin on the WordPress plugin repository that aims to solve this exact problem. It’s called Calculated Fields for ACF. From your description above, I think this plugin can solve your problem without having to write code.
