How to clean up the database from old unused acf fields?

Hi, as per the title: any of you did ever had this problem? Do you know how to clean the database from the old unused acf fields? They’re not exactly simple _postmeta redords. Each field as at least 2 _postmeta records and one _posts record.

I suggest that you read over these topics to understand the difficulty in doing this.

Before you begin you should know that there really is no safe way to delete old ACF field values.
