Hide fields if empty

Hello i am trying to hide empty fields from the site i am using ACF.

I found this http://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/hiding-empty-fields/ but i dont know where to put this code. Which file am i editing?

Hi

This sample code is used to hide field from your template pages.

If it’s a page it will be in page.php, an article single.php …
