Hide custom fields on a custom type post

  • Hi,

    I have a custom fields set and a custom post type (‘humor’, from Comic Easel plugin) and I want to hide the output on every post of that post type. This is the URL I’m working on – http://agendarcultura.com.ar/humor/olor-a-pata/ .

    I’m looking for a front-end solution, if possible; I could try an if statement that checks for content on the fields, but I’m a little lost there. Is there a way to do such thing?

    Thank you!

  • Even though nobody in this support forum helped me, I created a quick way to solve this. Your loop should look like this:

    <?php if (have_posts()) : while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>
    <?php if (get_post_type() == 'comic'): ?> <!-- Change this to the ACF field name you need -->
    <article><!-- All the code you want without calling ACF -->
    </article>
    <?php else: ?>
    <article><!-- All the code you want with ACF calls-->
    </article>
    <?php endif; ?>
