Help Adding File to Custom fields

Hello. I’m super new to WordPress and need a little guidance.

So all I’m trying to do is add a file to my custom field. I did what the documentation said, however when I click the ‘Add File’ button it won’t respond and let me add my file. Any suggestions on what I could be doing wrong?
