Group field from repeater's subfield's values on another page

I have a repeater field on a page that I use to add and fill rows (prizes) with various subfields (name, type, photo, description, sponsor, etc.).

I need to take the value of each row’s first subfield’s value (prize name) to create a text field (for the winner’s name) in a group on a CPT (events). It’s a 1-to-1 rows to text fields match (always be as many text fields in group as rows in repeater). And it needs to be updatable.

I have searched up and down the forum but can’t seem to work it out from the posts I found.

Any help much appreciated.
