Group Different Custom Field Groups into Tabs?

The title says it all… is there a way to group different custom field groups into tabs?

Right now you can group different fields inside a group into tabs. But you can’t group “groups” into tabs.

has anyone been able to accomplish that? I have really big groups, and often 2 or 3 groups per page. Would be nice to have them broken down into tabs.

To group a field group into a tab, you will need to use a 3rd party plugin like so:
http://wordpress.org/plugins/ultimate-metabox-tabs/

Each field group is a metabox so you can use this plugin to tab them!

Hi Elliot,

I’m trying to do this as well, but on the options page with the premium add-on. The plugin appears to support this, but when I choose my tabs and add my ACF metaboxes in the plugins ‘Global Options’ section, no tabs are showing.

Any ideas?

It would be great to see this feature implemented in ACF 5. AWESOME plugin btw.

I don’t believe there is any support between ACF Options and the 3rd party http://wordpress.org/plugins/ultimate-metabox-tabs/ plugin.

Hello,

I am also trying to use this plugin combo to display ACF fields in different tabs but it doesn’t seem to be working anymore. I see the plugin hasn’t been updated for a while, does anyone know if it’s just not compatible anymore or I am doing something wrong?
