Google Maps not scrolling in inactive tabs

The new scrolling feature for validation is great. When the invalid field is in an inactive tab, it intelligently switches to that tab and scrolls.

However, while scrolling for the Google Map field works in an active tab, it doesn’t work in an inactive tab. The tab doesn’t switch and the screen only scrolls a few pixels up or down.

This happens in both the backend and the frontend. It’s easier to see in the backend when using a mobile device (or narrow screen).
