Hi there,
What I’m trying to do (I don’t even know if this is possible) is to show a google map in front end. That google maps renders multiple markers in predefined loactions, but allows the user to check or tick some markers, and obviously get these data saved when submitting.
In other words, display a google map with multiple locations and allow to tick some markers in order to save which markers are checked.
Thanks in advance!
Mikel
Hi @mikelweb
For something like that, you need to use a click event to watch the markers, and then add the data to a hidden form. Here’s an example of a click event: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/event-simple. For further support on how to get the markers data and add it to a form, kindly ask Google Maps Community instead.
For the submitting process you can use acf_form() and hide it. This page should give you more idea about it: https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/create-a-front-end-form/.
I hope this helps 🙂
