I’m adding the Google Map field to a custom post type on our site, using it for locations in a directory.
On a single post I would like to show a list of the “5 closest locations”, based on the locations added to other posts. Would it be possible to build such a function? I imagine one would have to query Google Maps and compare posts to each other..? That wouldn’t work very well if we have thousands of posts.
If anyone has done something similar, I would be curious!
