Getting values from a custom field in user profile page

Hi,

I have a set of custom fields set up in ACF that appear in the User Profile page in the Admin area backend . One of these is a dropdown list of towns. The author can select one town.

I would like the pages that displays these dropdowns to, when one is selected, list all the posts that are within the particular town. I can’t think of a way to accomplish this, any help would be much appreciated.

Hi @kevleitch

Is this ‘town select field’ populated by a list of pages?
Is it a post_object field type?

What do you mean by I would like the pages that displays these dropdowns to, when one is selected, list all the posts that are within the particular town. – this is hard to interpret.

Please provide a clearer explanation.
